Lorin Schrader discovered his passion for manufacturing while starting as a mechanical engineer at Pratt & Whitney and Enstrom Helicopter Corporation. He then spent 15 years in aerospace manufacturing, focusing on rotorcraft and aircraft engine components.

He later became an Operational Controller and Plant Manager at a leading aerospace titanium investment casting facility. His strong process expertise—and the challenges the aerospace industry faced during the pandemic—led him to shift into a new career helping companies implement manufacturing-focused ERP systems.

After several years of successful implementations, Lorin founded Trail Guide Consulting Group, a boutique firm that helps manufacturers improve operations and financial performance through the smart and practical use of technology.
